The MoonRay Subaru

From college to roadtrips to location shoots, it's amazing this car still runs. But like Jon, you can always rely on the MoonMobile to get your photographer to the church, beach or office on-time.

The Little Loyale That Could

You'll know Jon by his car. Jon's MoonMobile is a 1993 Subaru Loyale. Usually coated in backroads dust, Jon swears up and down that there's red paint underneath.

Famous words about the MoonMobile:

• "What do you mean it needs a new engine?"
• "Who says I can't take a 1993-year-old wagon up a mountain pass in winter?"
• "You know Jon, if you cleaned this thing out you'd probably get 10 more miles to the gallon."
• "Four dogs, four windows – now if I can just find the camera we'll be ready to go."
• "My car really gets around. How many other wagons can say that last week they crunched sand at a wedding shoot on the Oregon coast, then went for a mountain climb up in the Cascades?"
